Fitted Sheets

While we are all either in a frenzy or relaxing into the coming holiday, I thought I'd take a moment for some social commentary …

Our guest room is no longer a sewing room and even better … it is no longer "Wrapping Central." Gifts are wrapped and under the tree.  Although we are not expecting overnight guests any time soon - we're ready!

So … fitted sheets.
They are notoriously difficult to fold.
I have gotten this feat down pretty well.

But making the bed?
Every single time we (yes, My Cute Husband always helps) make our queen-sized bed, it takes 2 tries to get the bottom sheet going in the correct direction … every single time.

While putting new sheets on the bed in our guest room
look what I discovered ...

Generally speaking, twin bed sheets are a bit more obvious than queen-sized
but this is genius!!
ALL sheets should have these labels.

Life would be so much easier.

I just used a fat black sharpie and marked an X at the bottom of my fitted sheet. :-)
