A Very Quilty Christmas Party

Today was the annual Seaside Piecemakers Christmas luncheon. I was able to attend at the last minute and had such an enjoyable time … really put me in the spirit!

It's a big group, lots of holiday cheer, good food, fun friends.

We always take up a collection for a charity.  This year it was

Candlelighters of Brevard.

They provide support in LOTS of ways to families who have a child with cancer. Our guild gives each newly diagnosed child a quilt (of course). This year, we also gave them over $2,000.00.

Moving here to Florida, 2+ years ago and knowing exactly 1 person wasn't scary. I knew I would get involved with quilters.  I am so thankful for the friends I have made and the work that we do.
