Dye Day

Saturday was my knitting group's DYE DAY! We've talked about it for quite some time.  Finally ... we managed to have a day and supplies and time.

I added some wool fabric to the dye pots as the day progressed. We all did different color combos.

Some of this was kettle dyed, some hand painted, some dip-dyed.

These are a few of mine, drying in the bathroom.

I could not wait another minute.  I just had to wind up a hand painted skein and have started another shawl.

I started it, but have put it aside to finish a pair of socks.  I WILL finish the socks before working on the shawl ... I WILL ... I WILL ... I WILL!

And this?

This is an awesome piece of wool fabric.  I can't wait to make some pumpkins.

Wow, I didn't know you could do that with yarn. Pretty colors!

I really need to get to dying the wools I have, before winter gets here.
