Relay For Life

For the first time,  Steve and I participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. My knitting group had a team.  We were "Pints and Purls".  I donated a quilt for raffle. We had baked goods for sale. Did other fund raising and made about $2000.00.

The first lap around the track was for survivors.  Steve is 4 years healthy! 

There was a Luau Dinner for us, entertainment all day and lots of walking.  I did 5+ miles! In between laps, we knitted and enjoyed a lovely day.

A great day spent with friends for a great cause!
