When Not Sewing

Living in Florida has lots of perks. Just one is the growing season ... it's ALWAYS! We've discovered a great garden center - Rockledge Gardens. I could go and just walk around for hours. Everything is so pretty.

This is just a teeny look at the place.  There are rows and sections and little buildings.  Everyone who works there is SO friendly and helpful (it's Florida!).

We picked out a few things on Tuesday and spent the afternoon planting.

There is still more to do, more to pick out, more to plant and lots of mulching.  We are NOT very knowledgeable gardeners but as Steve reminds me - even a blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut. So we pick out stuff, plant it, water it, and hope like hell is grows.  If it doesn't, we eventually pull it out and try something else.
