Road Trip Part 2

After Peggy's Quilt Shop, we continued on east? South? I was driving NOT navigating. We stopped at a wonderful antique place - it was really big and had LOTS of goodies. I was very restrained, picked up and put down several things - saving my $$ for quilt shop spending. I did buy a darning egg.

A darning egg? My hand knit socks (and there's plenty) have never needed darning but - you never know!

A quick lunch stop - Sonic, then on to Serendipity this is a great quilt shop - lots of variety - in fabric and STUFF. they have a really nice selection of wool - not too many quilt shop carry wool. AND - they have a smallish selection of yarn. It's a spacious shop, in it's own building - looks like a red house - just darling. And yes, I did spend a bit!

We also stopped at Mare's Bear - in Lewes, DE. It's pronounced "loos" - they have t- shirts. I didn't take photos. They had a lot of older fabrics - which I loved then AND now.

What a great day! If you don't have sewing buddies - FIND SOME! It's fun to hang out with people who "get" you.

I love Serendipity Quilt Shop! I stop there on my way home from OC, I have one of their totes. Friendly staff, and lots of eye candy.
