Did you miss me? Two weeks! It's been 2 whole weeks since I've posted. I never even did a Christmas post. But ... honestly - I haven't really had much to post about. It's been a lovely, busy, relaxing, fun time. Husband has been home the whole time (he goes back to work tomorrow). My mom was here visiting for a week, Daughter #2 has moved home and then there's Daughter #1 (and 4 grandkids) and we went to VT to my Goofy Sister's house for New Year's. You can see photos of lots of quilts from last year ... I never took my camera out this year, not once.
So ... here's a Christmas gift quilt. Yes, he was surprised!
And another one ... Yes - equally surprised.
That's it for the quilty stuff. I was stash busting but not with fabric. During the last 2 weeks, I was furiously knitting this pair of socks. All done with leftover bits from other socks. The picture (as always) doesn't do them justice. The colors are REALLY bright. And, wouldn't you know ... the pink matched my Goofy sister's shoes perfectly. Guess where these socks are now ... did you guess VT?

Sounds and looks like a lot of fun. I love the colors of the socks you knitted - bright and fun.
I KNEW you couldn't just sit still! Looking forward to spending some high volume time quilting with you soon.
