PROGRESS REPORT

Ever been asked," how long does it take to make a quilt?"  Guess it depends on just how much of your life you're willing to give to the project.  On Monday, I decided that I really needed to make my Cute Husband a quilt for Christmas.  And here it is so far ...


I made scrappy sashing with corner stones and used 12 old t-shirts.
 Tomorrow I will add an inner and an outer border and get the backing and binding ready.  Friday, I'll quilt it and Saturday I'll bind it.  So - how long does it take? Less than a week, IF you also finish your Christmas shopping (all day yesterday), take your daughter out to dinner, make an appetizer for a party (tonight) AND do 4 loads of laundry.

And to pass the time while sewing ... I listened to LOTS of Christmas music.  One of my favorite CD's ...

Congratulations! I'm gonna have to wait until I can get to a JoAnn's for more flannel -- Walmart didn't have the right stuff. Meanwhile, I have solved the cell phone ills of the Turner family -- no small feat, requiring several hours on the phone today. But we are up and operational once again!! Back to my lurkim...
