Holy Moly ... it's been a week and no blog post! Where have I been? What have I been doing? ... didn't go to Quilt Market, didn't create any masterpiece quilts, didn't go on vacation ... hmmm ... what have I been doing?
I did fill in at the quilt shop where I used to work for 3 days ... that is - I used to work there (2 years) and filled in for 3 days. And - did a bit of "autumn clean-up" in the yard.
AND ... yes, of course, there was some quilty stuff going on ...
I did NOT piece this beauty. Alexis made this quilt for her Dad's birthday (11/4) and she claims to be a beginner! I did the quilting.
She chose "Smoke" monofilament for the front - you mostly just see the texture (VERY good choice) and on the back - she chose a yellow and green variagated. Most people don't put the "good stuff" on the back. This worked great ... it turned out so pretty!
AND ... because of my new fascination with wool ...
Sweet Bee. New hunting/shopping adventures for wool!!
