Along the way I knitted a sock and read the atlas and looked out the window ... Kansas was kind of boring.
And we finally arrived at our destintation ... Hill City, SD. We're just outside of Sturgis. We've got a babbling brook and room for 20. What a beautiful place.
Good weather, good friends, good times ... limited internet access!

Looks like you're having fun! I love Hill City and all the quaint shops. I worked at Mt. Rushmore for 6 summers when I was in college and always enjoyed the bikers during rally time.
Wow, your trip looks fantastic. This is part of the country I really want to see! Thanks for sharing your pictures ~ I can't wait to hear more stories when you all get back!
