SNOW Day!

Just kidding … it's not really a SNOW day here in Melbourne, Florida. It is a 100% chance of rain day. That's almost the same thing as a snow day! It's dreary and dark out and a teeny bit chilly (70's) and of course … damp.

I've missed a couple of days in the "31 blog posts in 31 days" challenge. As I mostly journal about my creative endeavors and somedays I have NO creative things to show, I have nothing really to blog.

I did go to a Christmas lunch yesterday with my Applique Addicts group. We usually meet in at the library, but for our holiday gathering, Susan hosted. She did a FAB-O job - wonderful soup, salad, cheese cake luncheon.

But the best part … her house!

Everywhere you look there is something Christmasy.

Several trees, lots of Santas
so much holiday spirit

As we head into the last few days leading up to Christmas
I am so very grateful for my life.

My 86 year old mom is still with us
and her new 6 week old great-grandbaby
Amelia.

You made me laugh, I would be thrilled if it gets over 50, lol.
What a beautiful home and love all her decor. That is so special to have your mom and the new baby in your life.
Merry Christmas!
