Bonus

Today was a day of surprises.

1st - a 2nd blog post … that doesn't often happen.

Then ...

My Cute Husband and I went to WOB.

WOB = World of Beer

We usually go on Sunday afternoons

for beer (him) and knitting (me).

While sitting (and knitting) with my knit group, in walks my friend

Karen Todd.

The surprise - Karen Todd lives in Maryland!

She came down for some sunshine and golf and surprised me.

She showed up to knit group!

My family knew.

My FL knitters knew.

My MD Bee-Mates all knew.

I did NOT know.

Surprised doesn't even come close to how I felt.

AND

She brought me a gift.

Karen is multi-talented.

She's a quilter, a knitter and a potter.

I commented on Instagram how much I liked this bowl.

Love how the color swirls.

She brought it to FL and gifted it to me.

It's a perfect yarn bowl.

I'm still a bit dumbfounded that she showed up so unexpectedly.

What a GREAT bonus-after-Christmas present!
