Yesterday, I got the urge to cut fabric. I dove into 1 of the 2 Christmas boxes that are still sitting out (and in the way) in my sewing room.
I cut a lot and I purged some teeny pieces.
I have enough 6" squares for 2 quilts (more on that later).
I have a nice pile of strings - might make some blocks today.
I also have a stack of 2 1/2" strips of various lengths. These will be something, someday.
The very BEST part ...
All my Christmas fabric is now in ONE bin.

Isn't it wonderful to "empty" a box. I know you'll save it for other fabric that you'll pick up in the future.
Love the idea of "buttons" on the pinwheels. Keep showing your work, makes it like you are still here in MD.
