It's All About The Prep

Today was a prep day ... I was prepping for good things to come.

1. The top border for my Kim McLean Flower Garden quilt.  My timeline is for 6 blocks and 1 border to be done by the end of May.  I have 7 blocks completed! The 1st border is well on it's way.

2.  Some Fence Art! I have always wanted a barn quilt... but we do not have a barn.  Next best thing ... a fence quilt!

3,  Chourico and onions - Portuguese  sausage, a family favorite.  It is usually made with peppers and onions but You-Know-Who (insert Cute Husband) will NOT eat peppers.  Sometimes it is served on sub rolls.  We like it served over pasta.  Dinner tomorrow night, after it cooks in the crockpot all day.  I know it doesn't look like much now ... but it will!!!

AND ... no prep needed on this. Saturday, Kid#1 and I went to the Vintage Rehab store for their monthly yard sale and I came home with a very tall ladder.

I also came home with a really cute bench.

Warm and sunny here in Florida. I need to get in a beach day!!

I'd love your recipe for the sausage mixture. Love the new ladder and all of your work but you are killing us with the "warm" weather. It's been in the 60 most of this week. Enjoy your beach time.
