Being without power for 24 hours ... Well, lets's just say - I suffered from sewing withdrawal. To be fair ... I was sleeping (sort of) through 12 hours of it. About 2 in the morning, the electricity went off and back on 5 or 6 times. Each time it went off, Mom's oxygen concentrator beeped and each time it came back on, the door bell activated. Our door bell plays a complete verse of "Anchors Aweigh". It finally went off and stayed off ... it was almost better that way.
During the storm, I knitted and did some hand stitching.
