I received a second place ribbon for an afghan that I entered in the County Fair. The Judges commented that they had never seen that particular pattern before but they all liked the puffiness that was created. It was my first attempt to crochet a milestone gift. I was consistent with my error throughout the project, then just squared off each block and joined them all together. The finished afghan resembled the photo in the instructions but because of the puffiness, I thought my stitches were just not as tight as shown in the sample. Your two pictures are worth a thousand words!
