Happy New Year

So many bloggers have posted about the past (2012) and the future (2013). I have enough going on right now just trying to stay in the present! Mom and I finally go home to Maryland tomorrow. 2 weeks away has been a week too long. Even with a sewing machine here, I miss being home with my STUFF.

A quick catch-up : I truly am over the "quilt in the garbage". On Christmas afternoon, Goofy2 opened the very last present - a big box. As she opened the lid, she exclaimed (really - exclaimed), "we're worthy again!" Guess she realized the 15 year punishment is over.

The giant scrappy quilt has a home and I think it will be well cared for by my sister.
