Sunny But Not So Warm

Mom and I arrived in Florida on Wednesday - it was 80 and sunny. Today when I woke up it was 45 and sunny. According to the weatherliars today is the coldest it will be and the high for today is 65. So - I'm wearing the one pair of long pants I have with me, again.

For the first time, I have a sewing machine here! I'm all set up at Mom's desk. Her computer is now in MD so this was a perfect spot. In between family things and Christmas stuff, I'm managing a bit of time to work on the Bonnie Hunter mystery: Easy Street.

My cute Husband drove down from MD, carrying gifts and a sewing machine. He arrived Friday. Today, Mom is off getting beautiful fingers and toes and having lunch with a friend, my sister (Goofy2) is catching up on some house stuff, my Cute Husband is off having breakfast with my cute brother-in-law and I'm on my own. Heading out in a bit in search of yarn and visiting a quilt shop - all by myself, with 2 hours to kill, and an urge to support the local economy.
