Sandy Quilting

Retreat was GREAT - got a lot done. 6 quilts of various sizes got binding, good progress on a class sample and really good progress on a Christmas present. I came home with 6 finished quilt tops from others at the retreat. My job - to quilt them and donate them to Hurricane Sandy victims. Michelle's Quilt Shop in southern MD is gathering quilts and through her Brother Sewing Machine rep, who is from NJ, is shipping them north.

I've managed in the last 2 days to quilt 4 of them! Last night at our guild meeting, the quilts went home with others for binding and will be dropped off at the shop on Saturday. The other 2 and possibly 4 will be finished ... after Thanksgiving.
