TODAY

On my design wall ...

It's actually on my ironing board. I'm adding borders to this quilt I made last year. It's called Lucinda Brodie, from Australian Patchwork. She needs to be bigger. It was 61 x 75 - not big enough for a bed and too big for the wall (at least for any wall in my house.)  As of 10 minutes ago, she measures 71" x 75. I'm going to do 2 more borders. I'm shooting for 85" x 91". Maybe a bit bigger but I'm limited to what I have for the outside border so I have to measure carefully.

I'll check back later with an update.

Hurray! Lucinda is on her way! Mine turned out to be just throw size, but at least it fits on my diningroom wall. Can't wait to see your all finished.

That looks like a beautiful quilt and would be wonderful on a bed.

I am with you on this.... need quilts that tuck under the toes and under the chin with room to spare. Yours is going to be a beauty... there are quilt shops everywhere if you need more fabric... just sayin'
