Part of yesterday and this morning I sewed ... nothing usual about that. But I wasn't sewing little bits of fabric together into bigger bits and ultimately into quilts.
I sewed pants.
Five pairs of pants.
Only four pairs made into the photo - I was wearing the first pair.
I've tweaked this pattern a bit - shortened the rise, widened the legs, added different types of pockets, used different types of fabric - linen, velvet, poplin, denim, even quilting cotton.
It takes exactly ONE hour of sewing to make a pair of pants. It took a little longer for the flowered pair ... I put the pockets on wrong ... twice. Two of these are for daughter #2 and I've made a couple pairs for Goofy Sister #1. They haven't ALL been for me, sometimes I share.

Hey those look great. Isn't it fun to make quick stuff that you can use right away. You could sew in your jammies and make a fancier pair to wear later in the day :) Came over to you from Quiltstory!
Don't you just love it when you find a pattern that works perfectly for you? Your pants look fabulous!
Visiting from Sew & Tell. Thanks for sharing. Happy Friday! ☺
I have yet to find a pants pattern I truly love, but your pants look great! I'm sure your sister and daughter will appreciate them too :)
You have been busy and productive. That's so great! Pants are still kind of challenging to me so I applaud your wonderful efforts to find that one pattern that works so well.
Wow!! Great job! :o)
I have always wanted to sew for myself but never have the guts. I love the pants you have made! I would agree with you, elastic rocks.
Fabulous job!
Isn't having that go to pattern the best! These are great pants, summer time is the right time to sew clothes!
great job on all the pants!
I just got a pattern out to make myself some pants someday and now I'm going to do it. Yours look so comfy!
