THURSDAY FINISH?

Thursday finish doesn't have quite the same ring as a Friday Finish ... but I didn't want to wait until tomorrow.  I just took this baby out of the dryer - like 5 mintues ago.  Starlyn pieced it, Daria quilted it and I "chenilled" it, bound it, wash and dried it.

It turned out sew sweet!

The chenille is already bias cut and on a roll.  It's available at quilt shops ... specifically - you can mail order it (or go in, if you live in MD) from And Sew It Goes.

A very simple embellishment technique ... straight seam sewing, applied on top, after it's quilted and bound.  Then just throw it in the washing machine - it will look like a sad, drowned chicken but don't worry.  Throw it in the dryer and when she's done ... she's done.
