MELROSE INN

What a welcome we received when arriving at the Melrose Inn, in the quaint little town of Tryon, NC.
Each morning we had our coffee here on the porch and most evenings, we visited here.  Plants and flowers, wind chimes and statues and a lovely breeze.

Here's an example of one of the MANY quilts that Marilyn shared with us.  I'll show more during the upcoming week.

I stayed in the Egyptian room.  Each of the 8 rooms (there will eventually be 19) has a different theme.  The hallways are decorated with quilts and objects - something to look at wherever you look.
Even the birds have a place to hang out and enjoy a meal.
