FRIDAY FINISH

Starly came over on Wednesday for a SEWING DAY. We put a quilt on the Handiquilter and got it all finished - she's gifting it and I didn't take a photo (duh-o). But I did take a photo of this one ... She brought it for a little sew 'n tell. How cute is this ... simple blocks with a busy pieced border. LOVE this idea.

I finished another Mountain Baby Quilt for Dawn. My meager attempt at an arty photo shoot did not take into account sun and shadows. The sock monkey fabric is really cute. (4 done, 2 left)
And FYI ... you should check this out ...

What a great giveaway. Ryan is a "dad who quilts" and his giving away an AccuQuilt GO. You really need to go here and leave a comment and if (when) you win, you could always just tell him to send it to me ... just a thought.
AND ... don't forget to check out amylouwho's sew'n tell blog today ... click the button on the side bar.

Thank you sharing two lovely quilts. I am quite partial to the hourglass block. I was going to make some of those blocks with some of Amy Butler's 'Love'.

Your quilt is beautiful even with the shadows on it.
