DAY 1

John and Krista, my 14 year old niece and nephew (twins) are here visiting from Florida. Day 1 was a success! We woke to pouring rain - not a good start. So we headed to the mall - that made Krista happy. But John made the 1st purchase - a LeBron James/Miami Heat shirt. Can you believe they are already in the stores.
In the later afternoon, Krista REALLY wanted to sew and ... John decided to join us!!! That made ME happy. We're making Gramma a new tabletopper for her new condo - I'll keep you posted on the progress.

The rain did stop, so the baseball game was on ... that made John happy.

Please ignore the shadows under K's eyes ... I swear she slept for 11 hours.

And - after the game (our team won - that made the Cute Husband happy) ... there was great fireworks.

Day 1 = 4 happy people = total success!
