So - here's my April BOM from Elsie Campbell's "Love Knows No Season." The background (as always) seems a bit washed out in the photo, it's better live and in person.
AND ... what did I do during my "down time" in Floriday? Knitting is portable so that's what I did - a lot. I'm having a severe attack of SSS ... Second Sock Syndrome!
Now that my life is back to normal ... and that's NOT saying much ... I'm hoping to get back to sewing and blogging.

Welcome back, Mary! We have missed you! Those orange socks are awesome, as are the grey. I think you should wear one of each color so we can see a variety of your work, LOL. Did the block require hand embroidery?
Become like Dobby in Harry Potter - never wear matching socks!!
What a gorgeous block. Its going to be a stunning quilt.
That block is beautiful!!! Love it!!!
The block is beautiful. I like how you embroidered little flowers areound it. I have the pattern and I tried one block but I struggled with the bias.
I have never quilted so I always look in amazement at these blocks you quilters are able to do.Yours is beautiful.I am sure you need to be so patient. well done. Andrea in Ireland x
Love your BOM! That is beautiful.
Your BOM is beautiful! And your socks look awesome. I've always wanted to learn to do that, but it might interfere with my quilting. So many projects, so little time.
Very pretty BOM!
I hope your time away was wonderful! Welcome back!
