BUSY DAY

BUSY BUSY BUSY day ... I'm working on a quilt called "Root'n Toot'n Cowboy" by my good friend (and sometimes sewing buddy) Dawn. It's one of her Spring Water Designs pattern and is just so darn cute.

OK - that wasn't very nice of me - you don't get to see that quilt until tomorrow.

The picture? Thanks to Bonnie Hunter's book, courtesy of Anita's giveaway (which I was lucky to win!), I've started a leader/ender project. While working on the cowboy quilt, I stitched these little 1/2 square triangles at the end of a seam before snipping the thread. A little basket of cut-offs from a gazillion flying geese (well, it seemed like a gazillion but really it was 144) and eventually, these little teeny pieces will grow up and become something fabulous.
