Friday Night Sew-in

Friday Night Sew-In ... ok, I don't do a whole lot of hand sewing. Friday night I did some knitting. This is my first attemt at a sweater. I've made lots of socks and crocheted MANY sweaters but this is my first knitted sweater. The yarn is beautiful and the knitting is simple - so far.Like all quilters - I am a chocolate lover but my cute husband brought home a surprise for me! While living in Scotland, I discovered how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these little sweeties. The bowl is now empty. How about THIS bar of chocolate! The teaspoon is there just for a little perspective. This was sent to me by Handiquilter for Christmas. I do love this company! The lower left corner is gone. Somewhere in between a knit row and a purl row, I just had to have a little chocolate energy!

Thanks Heidi

Knitting counts ;-) Pretty yarn! My daughter and I are going to take a knitting class next at a really fabulous yard shop. And I would like to know your thoughts on the HQ16. Do you have that model?? I've been considering it, but for lack of space we are holding off right now.
