Fowl Play

Seaside Piecemakers Quilt Guild hosted Laura Wasilowski this week.  What a fun lady and a great teacher.  I've admired her work for years.  I even made a small piece while still in Maryland.  Meeting her and learning from her was ... well ... just great!

We are not related.

Isn't this just sew fun.  She makes lots of little fused quilts. They all make me smile.

I may have purchased a few things ...

ok ... I bought a lot of her hand-dyed perle cotton threads and a book.

There will be a few small fused quilts that make me smile in my future.

PS ... the name of the class I took was - Fowl Play, Birds With No Egrets.  It will be a little while before I have enough of a piece to show it.  There are birds on it.
