Post-Sandy Sewing

We faired pretty well during the storm, never lost power, no property damage, just LOTS of yard debris. It's been raining on and off all day. Eventually the sun will come out, dry everything, and we'll get the yard cleaned up.

In the meantime - I've been sewing. My October UFO is growing - slowly. I'm pretty excited about how it's looking. I've even got the backing already picked out. AND - I got my strippy quilt quilted. I'm gathering a pile of "things to be bound". They'll go with me to my guild retreat - a great time/place to do mindless sewing.
