A Newbie

Here's the progress so far on the sock made from Kool-Aide dyed yarn. Got some sort of funky pooling/striping going on. I think these will be a Christmas gift for my sister - Goofy1.

And - I final started my art quilt. Well, I actually started back in June (maybe May?) but it was all about reading the book "Quilted Symphony" and drawing on paper. Let me just start for the record - I can NOT draw, unless of course I've got rulers and things like yogurt containers and empty thread spools to trace around - then I CAN draw.

The photo probably makes very little sense but I think the end product is going to look ok.
