D.O.N.E.

Don't you just love that word - DONE.  Always good!  Well, maybe not with a good book but it's always a great feeling when a quilt is done.

This started as a leader/ender- use-up-scraps quilt, a couple of years ago.

Then I got tired of sewing tumblers.  I wanted it bigger so I added borders.

5 borders!  It's hard to see in this photo but border #2 is scrappy strips sewed together.

The back is more controlled but still "using up". I wanted to finish up that yellow - it's so bright. 

Shhhhh ... this is a Christmas gift.
