Mom And Daughter

I'm in Florida for a little mom and daughter time.  Visiting with kid#2 and celebrating (tomorrow) my birthday.  I brought lots of knitting with me, taking a wee break from sewing.

Years ago (15!), I made Kid #2 a memory quilt.  This was before the photo transfer stuff you ran through your own printer.  I actually had to go to a print shop and have the transfers made and then iron them to the fabric.

Even way back then, I LOVED a scrappy looking quilt.

She was such a cutie! With her Dad.  With her sister and uncle.

As a baby. Dancing in the Nutcracker Ballet.

Even all grown up now, I still think of her this way - my little cutie! I love the fact that I'm sleeping under this quilt at her house.
