Borderless

I did it. I made a quilt without a border.  Right up until it was actually loaded on the HQ frame and I was quilting it, I still debated whether or not to add a border.  But I did NOT.

The red binding finished it off quite nicely.

The quilt measures 60" x 80".  This quilt was several years in the making - maybe 5 years?  It started as a box swap, but the swap sort of lost momentum and everyone got their boxes returned.  Then it sat fermenting in my sewing room.  It was on my 2011 AND 2012 AND 2013 UFO list. 

It will NOT be on my 2014 list.
