BIG Sewing and little Sewing

Today's fun activities consisted of some big sewing.  I pieced a quilt back that measures 109" x 109" for my Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt - Easy Street - from last fall.  It's not yet a UFO if I can get it done in less than a year.

I also made binding.  This is what 440" of binding looks like ...

In between seams and just to keep it fun.  I also pieced 70 little 9-patches that measure 2" x 2".  The pieces were NOT 2".  The finished 9-patch measured 2".

They're for a Bee swap and so darn cute.  But ... We're going to need a heck of a lot of 9-patches to make a quilt - they're SEW little!
