A Struggle That I Won

It was a real struggle today - I was sorely tempted, but I resisted. It was hard, I looked at it and touched it and thought about it and almost did it - but I didn't. I did NOT wind the oh-so-yummy sock yarn that is sitting on my sewing table. It's right there calling. Sitting right next to the yarn swift. It would be so easy to just wind it up and start some new socks. I'm dying to see how this yarn - that I dyed - is going to look as it knits up.

But I have 2 pairs of socks started - each with 1 finished and one 1/2 finished. One single sock that needs it's soul mate started and a simple easy sleeveless sweater with the front done and the back about 1/3 finished. I really need to finish something before I start another project.

Quilting? One can Never have too many started projects when fabric is involved. Today, I finished adding the border to my Blue Spruce. I do believe it's the first thing I will quilt on my new Handiquilter Avante. THEN - I will quilt the 2 commissions and THEN maybe some of the other tops that are sitting patiently waiting for me.

So many projects, so little time.
