Odds and Ends

Socks #52 are finished! Knitters Brewing Company runs the best KALS's (knit-along). These socks are called - April Showers, complete with cloud, rain drops, flowers and lightening. Socks #53 are almost done. The orange/yellow yarn was a Christmas gift.

I was asked by 2 different readers - what's the pattern I use for MANY pairs of pants? It's a Kwik Sew - easy peasy - elastic waist with pockets. I've made dozen with this one pattern. I tweaked the fit a bit on the first couple of pairs until it was perfect. Well - perfect for me 40 pounds ago. I'm going to have to start over on the fitting process this summer.

Two pairs of pants made today and will be sent off to kid#2 in Florida. She loves her mother's sewing!
