Following a really stormy Friday night many folks in our area have no power and lots of yard debris and downed trees to clean up and it's 100 degrees outside.
My guild's monthly library sewing day was Saturday - a great remedy to these situations. BUT, the Cute Husband and I had power, no downed trees (our neighbor's tree fell right down the property line) and our AC was working great - I went to library anyway!
Got a great start on my new strippy quilt. Sewing days are great for simple, repetitive sewing.
