Fixed It

How discouraging to get the last pass of quilting and discover that the backing is short. This should NEVER be a surprise but sometimes - it is. Off the frame, trim the quilt to gain some more fabric, stitch it to the bottom and quilt.

I could have put this back on the frame but decided to use my sewing machine for the small border left to be quilted.

Thought you might enjoy this picture - it's rare. You won't often see MY hands in quilting gloves!
