My friend Starlyn bought this kit 3 years ago.
And decided maybe this just wasn't for her.
Soooo - because I don't have a zillion other projects to start and/or finish - I thought I'd give it a try. Using a drop spindle isn't so easy. Or - maybe it's MY spinning that isn't so good. I watched MANY YouTube videos and read the instructions that came with the spindle and gave it my best shot. The green is for comparision - it's lovely sock yarn from Knitters Brewing Company.
Then - I made a trip to a local yarn shop that has b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l wool ...
I'm a firm believer in a simple fact ... if you don't know HOW, it's better to have MORE!

My ex, a Navy man via USNA, always said "If you can't tie a good knot, then tie plenty of them!" I guess that 's the equivalent of your yarn about your yarn...?
