LITTLE = EASIER ... not

For the 2nd day in a row, it's dreary outside - drizzly and cold.  I could (should) be in the dungeon, sewing, where I can pretend it's a beautiful, warm, sunny day, but I'm not.  It's a good day to be under the Snuggi (yes, dorky me - I have a Snuggi), watching mindless TV and knitting.

After languishing on my needles for 3 months, yesterday I finshed these socks ...

Today - I made this sock...

It's itty bitty ...

In fact, believe it or not, it was too small so I had to make another one.  The new one - it's just little bitty ... not itty bitty.

So that my Peacock-sock would no longer be completely naked.
The wooden Peacock-sock was a Christmas gift from the Cute Husband.  My goal - for every pair of socks I complete in 2011, I will also make a little bitty sock.  That's 6 pairs of socks (+little bitties) in 2011.  One pair every two months.  Doable - but I'm already a little behind.

Great socks, Mary! But you sure had me going there for a moment when you started making little wee things.... I thought Jasmine had news!
