One of the best parts of a family event is food. And if this event takes place at "home" ... in Rhode Island ... that food almost always includes this ...
and all the other goodies that go with it ...
My sister's stepson got married this past weekend. The family gathering included (besides lots of food), LOTS of good fun. Thursday through Sunday we ate and laughed and ate and laughed.
The bride was one smart cookie. She had comfy feet ALL day.
Are these not the BEST shoes you've seen on a bride?

I love those shoes, lol.
Lobster is always good, that is one thing I can still enjoy. I do miss Maryland crabs, can't eat the spice now, but we ate a lot of them and fried softshell ones, when we stayed down there one summer.
