PECAN PIE MUFFINS

Remember this post about a really cute messenger bag?  I have a very hi-tech method of cutting curves ...

There really are lots of little 4-patch blocks in the yogurt container.  These are from the leftover bits from my Lucinda Brodie quilt.  Is this a repurpose? or an upcycle?

What I really wanted to share with you today is this ... Pecan Pie Mufins.

These are the BEST muffins.  Sort of a cross between pecan pie filling and German chocolate cake icing.  The recipe is HERE.  I changed it up just a little (thank you Starlyn for the suggestion), I used a 1/2 cup of pecans AND a 1/2 cup of coconut.  Didn't think these muffins could get better - the coconut did it.

Pioneer Woman has the great recipes.  Some are bit labor intensive, some not but ALL end the same way ... eaten.

Definitely an upcycle made using a repurpose!

Those muffins look delicious. Coconut with pecans - two of my favorites. Happy quilting/baking!

I've copied the recipe with your variation. Also the one with the chicken and mushrooms -- yum! Thanks for the link to Pioneer Woman.
