RAINY DAY

Sometimes I like a rainy day. I can spend the day in my sewing room (no windows) and shut out the world and the weather and start a new project or even finish an old one. But right now - I'm just not feeling the love. It's been raining for a couple of days. I have my Buffalo Ridge quilt on the HQ frame and it's taking me forever to quilt it ... ok, it's been 2 days and I've only spent a couple of hours on it, but it feels like forever. I'd really rather be looking out the window at my pansies growing ... but I haven't planted any.

I'm not really as whiny as this sounds. I've got a great smelling corned beef in the crock pot for dinner. I made lemon crumb squares ... if you don't - you really must visit the Pioneer Woman's web site and start cooking!

AND ... how's this for a little Springtime/Easter fun ...
When I was making these wool eggs (before they were decorated), the Cute Husband thought they looked like little footballs and was very confused.

I feel your pain...it has been raining for two days here in South Jersey too. Hang in there, I hear tomorrow is suppose to be better. Happy Easter
